Mission Statement

"Expanding Individual Potential Through Innovative Instruction."

School History

ACCESS has grown to meet the needs of the community, now offering evaluation services, full-time education, therapy services, behavioral and mental health services, and vocational training for individuals with special needs.

Technology

Technology is used in therapeutic and academic environments at ACCESS. From augmentative communication devices to smart boards and electronic tablets, our 1:1 technology ensures students at every level are able to supplement curriculum with appropriate and engaging learning activities.

Scholarships & Financing

ACCESS accepts Medicaid, Tefra and Waiver for qualifying individuals, and is an approved private school under the Arkansas Education Freedom Act for qualifying students. ACCESS also offers tuition assistance.

Aftercare & Tutoring

ACCESS takes a team approach to learning, meaning therapists are involved in the day-to-day activities of the classroom and can engage in one-on-one therapy sessions. Academic therapy (specialized tutoring) is available for school-aged individuals with additional learning difficulties. Outpatient therapy services are offered for families who do not attend ACCESS full time. Aftercare services are available at both campuses for an additional fee.

Specialized Teaching Methods

ACCESS uses unique, literacy-based curriculum and a multi-sensory approach to learning by engaging all of the senses.

Additional Resources

The ACCESS Evaluation and Resource Center offers onsite services for comprehensive evaluations and behavioral and mental health counseling. Students needing support in those areas are able to integrate those services into their day as educators, therapists, evaluators and social workers work together to create individualized approaches for each child.
