What are you most excited about as you begin working with ASO? The programs I’m selecting are the kind of programs that appeal to those who love classical music, but also are the perfect introduction so people will fall in love with the symphony.

Why is ASO an important part of central Arkansas’ arts scene?
I think every city in every state deserves a great orchestra. ASO has set exceedingly high standards that reach far outside the state. It has a reputation around the world.

What other local arts venues do you recommend? I’m just now putting my foot in the water, but already it’s clear to me that there’s a vibrant scene here and an appreciation for performing arts.
