Extracurricular Programs & Athletics

CAC has won 39 state championships in athletics and offers 17 varsity, six middle school and four elementary sports. The campus has a brand-new weight training facility and offers robotics multimedia, theater, art, choir and band programs.

Exciting Projects

Things are moving on Mustang Mountain! CAC recently unveiled updated athletic facilities, including a state-of-the-art video scoreboard, new press box, new stadium entry, renovated gyms, new bleachers and more. Work is underway on a diamond sports complex to host baseball and softball games.

New Campus

Last year, CAC’s new elementary campus, Mustang Mountain Elementary, welcomed its first kindergarten class. The campus is located next to CAC’s secondary campus in NLR, just off I-430. This location is expanding to grades K-3 for 2025-26.

Noteworthy Programs

We have partnered with language-learning specialists to offer the Foundations Program, a first-of-its-kind specialized educational track for students in grades 6-12 with language-learning differences such as dyslexia.

Heart of Service

Service to our community is at the heart of what CAC does. Mustang Missions program partners students with local and international groups to provide meals, clothing, infant needs and more for the community. Our annual Special Olympics event in the spring is a culture-defining moment.

Honors & Awards

CAC offers 15 dual- and concurrent-enrollment college courses and four AP courses. This year, CAC earned AP honor roll recognition for student achievement. CAC is also expanding its summer academic course offerings. The class of 2024 earned more than $1.9 million in scholarships.
